After watching the above video by Malcolm Gladwell, I’ve decided that it might behoove me (meaning proper or advantageous, not to add a hoof to something which is hoofless) to expand my internet presence, to make me more accessible to people who prefer to read blogs on social networks. If this seems like a dumb move, let me explain so that when this fails horribly everyone can laugh at my horrible reasoning skills.
1. Traffic is very hard to monetize unless you get a huge amount every day.
2. If I diversify sources that publish my content my audience can grow larger than the traffic to this site.
3. The larger your audience the larger your potential pool of consumers if you produce a product.
4. I own two pairs of pants, so I should probably start thinking this way at least a little bit.
So you see, I at least have some bull crap reasons for doing this. So, from now on, just as soon as I figure out how all of these work (probably this weekend) you can find my blogs on all of these sites as well.

Don’t you need to run ads on your site too? What’s the point of lots of traffic otherwise?

I am very impressed, though not at all surprised, that you’re into the TED talks. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of the Gladwell one, the talks as a whole are just amazing!
